Fingerprint Jewelry
ARE THERE ANY AGE RESTRICTIONS FOR THOSE NEEDING THEIR FINGERPRINTS CAPTURED?
We proudly cater to all ages; the fingerprints' tender touch of newborns to the distinct lines of adults — our process has been fine-tuned to accommodate everyone!
We strive to keep the prints of children and babies as life-sized as possible in the final pieces, preserving that touch of innocence. Even the smallest of newborn fingers are potentially ready to be immortalized in our keepsakes. However, due to their fine and shallow nature, kindly take a magnified look at your newborn's fingerprints to ensure visible lines exist prior to capturing them.
As for adult prints that might be larger than our pendants, fret not! We've got it covered. Our state-of-the-art engraving technology skillfully scales down these prints, maintaining both the ratio and identity of the original fingerprint in perfect condition on the final product.
Just bear in mind, an easily identifiable fingerprint with visible lines is needed for the best end result.
HOW DO I CAPTURE THE PERFECT FINGERPRINT?
DO:
-To acquire a fingerprint you can either use the traditional ink pad and paper, or scotch tape and pencil methods.
-Another method to create your custom fingerprints is by simply applying some lipstick to your fingertips and pressing these prints onto a white sheet of paper.
-Use gentle taps to transfer the lipstick onto the paper
-Timing is everything: for baby or child prints, choose moments of calm for their ease and your success.
-Make multiple attempts so that we have lots of options to choose from!
-Once complete, take clear close up images of your prints and send it to us so we can make your unique piece of jewelry
-Messages (name, special date or initials) can be engraved on the back side of the charm, free of charge upon request.
AVOID:
-Seeing a dark blob? You are pressing too hard. Ease up — a soft tap works wonders.
-Do not roll your finger. Just simply tap it down on the print paper.

CAN I CREATE A CUSTOM PIECE OF JEWELRY USING AN EXISTING PAW PRINT THAT I HAVE?
You are also welcome to upload an ink print or something similar from your furry friends. At AmicaJewels, we gladly accept previously captured paw prints. Whether it's an antique gem preserved from yesteryears, or a fresh memory etched just yesterday, we warmly welcome them all to breathe new life into our exquisite keepsake jewelry.

Shipping & Returns
SHIPPING
All orders are processed within 24 hours (1 business day), excluding holidays.
Personalized items are handcrafted and assembled with love just for you and your loved one. Due to this, please allow 2 - 5 business days for your order to ship.
Once shipped, you can expect delivery within:
USA: 2 - 5 Business Days w/ Standard (1 - 3 Business Days w/ Expedited)
Canada: 5 - 10 Business Days
UK & EU: 3 - 7 Business Days
Australia & New Zealand: 8 - 20 Business Days
Rest of the World: 5 - 10 Business Days
RETURN POLICY
If you decide your purchase is not right for you we will gladly accept returns within 14 days of the delivery date for eligible items. To be eligible for a return, the piece must be in new/unworn condition, and must be returned in original packaging. Please email to support@amicajewels.co for return requests including your name and order number.
Items not eligible for returns:
- Sealed goods (earrings, ear cuffs and ear studs) due to hygiene reasons cannot be returned or exchanged if their seal has been removed after delivery
- Made to order items
- Custom orders
- Items shipped over 14 days of delivery date
- Items returned in damaged condition due to improper care and misuse
- Returns without our authorization or improperly sent packages
AmicaJewels is not responsible for loss or damage of return shipments. Once your return is inspected and approved, refund will be processed to original form of payment within 14 days.
Kindly note that customers are responsible for all postage costs for return.
LOST, DAMAGED OR DELAYED PARCELS
For parcels that are shipped with tracking & insurance, any lost or damaged parcels can be claimed through their corresponding shipping provider.
We have established partnerships with all our carriers and aim to deliver all packages within the quoted time frame.
We will do our best to resolve each issue for all our customers in regards to reshipments, claims or lost packages to the best of our ability.
ADDRESS ERRORS AND UNCLAIMED PACKAGES
Purchased items will be shipped to the shipping address supplied through your order at amicajewels.co .
Please double check this address is correct before checking out. We are not responsible for packages shipped to wrong address.
For shipments returned to us due to:
1) Inaccurate or incomplete address
2) Package is unclaimed once attempted to be delivered
We reserve the right to retain the shipping and return charges.
We will offer the possibility to have the package reshipped once the jewelry has been sent back to us. In that case, we will send you a message to confirm the shipping address, and you will need to pay a re-shipping and handling costs before sending the package again.
CUSTOMS AND DUTIES FEES
Buyers are responsible for all customs or duties fees that may applied. Amica Jewels aren't responsible for delays due to customs or issues with postal services.

Please make sure that everything is correct before you complete your purchase! We cannot change orders after they have been placed, however, we can cancel your order if you contact us with your order number within one hour of placing it, and we are happy to help!

When you're not wearing your jewelry, it is essential to store it in a safe and organized way. We recommend using a soft jewelry pouch or a separate compartment in a jewelry box to prevent pieces from tangling or scratching each other. Additionally, keep your jewelry away from excessive heat, sunlight, and moisture to maintain its condition.
2. Keep Away from Harsh Chemicals:
To protect the integrity and luster of your jewelry, it's important to avoid exposing it to harsh chemicals. Chemicals such as perfume, hair spray, cosmetics, and cleaning products can dull the shine and corrode the metal. We recommend applying such products before putting on your jewelry and ensuring it is completely dry before wearing.
3. Remove Jewelry During Activities:
While our jewelry is crafted with durability in mind, certain activities can put unnecessary strain on delicate pieces. We recommend removing your jewelry when engaging in activities like exercising, swimming, gardening, or participating in sports. This will minimize the risk of accidental damage or loss.
4. Clean Your Jewelry Regularly:
Over time, dirt, oils, and debris can accumulate on your jewelry, affecting its brilliance and shine. To keep your pieces looking their best, gently clean them using a mild detergent diluted in warm water and a soft-bristled brush. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry with a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid ultrasonic or steam cleaners, as they can damage certain gemstones or delicate metalwork.
GEMSTONES:
All our natural gemstones are carefully hand selected and hand-cut. Each and every stone is unlike the other- that is what makes jewelry pieces so unique. Please note it may be variations in the color, shape, size and clarity and may also contain natural inclusions.
You can gently clean most natural gemstones by using a soft-bristled brush and warm water. After cleaning, rinse your gemstone jewelry thoroughly and pat dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.
